This Article provides you with steps to preview your offer and subscribe to a test plan. Before you publish your offer live, you should use the preview functionality to develop your technical implementation, test and experiment with different pricing models and test the purchase flow. Also on how to Manage subscriptions in SaaSify and how ISVs can add metering to those subscriptions.
Use the following steps to preview your offer:
Sign in to Azure portal. Make sure you're signed in to the Azure tenant you submitted the offer to.
In Partner Center, go to the marketplace offer, click on the offer which you have created and then copy the Azure portal preview link under the Go live button.
Subscribe to a test plan
In Azure portal, on the offer subscribe page of your test offer, from the Plan list, select the test plan you created earlier.
Select the Subscribe button.
Under Project details, from the Subscription list, select the subscription.
Select an existing Resource Group or select Create new to create a new one.
Under SaaS details, enter a Name for the SaaS instance.
Leave Recurring billing set to Off (During testing).
Select the Review + subscribe button.
The Review + subscribe page appears to finalize the subscription process.
Near the bottom of the page, select Subscribe. The Deployment progress screen appears.
Once the subscription is deployed, you'll see the Your SaaS subscription is Complete message.
Click on Configure account
You’ll be redirected to SaaSify Portal (your customized SaaSify tenant).
Sign Up and do register with the details(Name, email address, passwords, country, state, verification code) .
After successful registration you’ll be login as customer admin and can view the subscription.
Manage Subscriptions in SaaSify
Log in to your SaaSify Instance with the Publisher Admin Role.
Once a purchase is made on your offer, the subscription will appear under the Subscriptions tab in SaaSify Portal.
If publisher approval is enabled for the plan at the offer level, the subscription status will show as Activation Required by Publisher.
In this case, you will need to manually activate the subscription to start the billing process for the customer.
Note:
Activation should be done within 30 days of purchase, otherwise the subscription will be automatically cancelled by Azure.
Adding Metering to the Subscription
Note:
You can add metering usage only if the plan includes metered dimensions.
Log in to your SaaSify Instance with the Publisher Admin Role.
Navigate to Subscriptions tab
Select the active subscription for which you want to post usage by clicking Edit under the Actions column.
Go to the Usage tab
Click on Add Record and Post the usage data accordingly.
