GCP Private Offer

Feature Updates

  • Introduced Deal type field in GCP Private offer. This field classifies the commercial context of a Private offer, such as whether it’s a new deal, renewal, migration, or a channel shift. This classification directly affects vendor revenue share, offer eligibility, and Marketplace reporting. Possible Values are:

    • New 

    • Channel shift 

    • Migration – new Google Cloud workload 

    • Native renewal 

Resolved Issues

  • Resolved an issue where updating the product type to "Professional Services" in a draft SaaS offer did not refresh the product type on the details screen

  • Fixed an issue in the SaaS amend offer where the installment date changed during edit and clone actions

  • Resolved an issue in the GCP private offer where the first installment date remained editable instead of being grayed out during offer editing

  • Resolved an issue in the Amend GCP offer where modifying the offer duration triggered a component error

  • Resolved an issue where editing SaaS and professional services private offers displayed an incorrect validation message for the installment date

GCP Reseller Private Offer Plan

Note:

You can now offer flexible payment schedules in your Azure Multiparty private offers. This means you can customize how your customers pay over time — such as below:

  • Monthly, quarterly, or annual payments

  • Different amounts at different times

  • Delayed start to payments (e.g., no payment for first 2 months)

  • Only Absolute Pricing Type is supported

  • Only Flat rate pricing model is supported

  • Added a Plan Type drop-down with values – New plan and Existing plan

    • New Plan will have an ability to enable FPS

    • New Plan will have an ability to create a new plan along with plan name & plan description

    • Existing Plan will have the old flow where both Absolute and Discounted price can be enabled

Bug Fixes

Resolved issues

  • Resolved the issue where GCP loggers appeared under the Loggers section of the AMP Private Offer

ACE Co-sell

Resolved issues

  • Fixed the bug where if user provided static value as USA under country mapping, state would be shown as empty while creating ACE Co-sell

Known Issues

  • Currently we are not showing Reseller Name while creating the AWS CPPO Authorization in SFDC. 

  • SFDC – Product dimensions get cleared out in case of AWS CPPO – FPS when user edits the CPPO in draft and let users to add only one dimension

  • SFDC- Subscription gets created for AWS FDA offer purchase before the start date

  • SFDC- Purchase of AWS CPPO Professional Service authorization is not supported

  • SFDC- Before creating a GCP private offer or RPOP, ensure the Channel Type is set to 'Direct' in the GCP Private Offer mapping module and 'Reseller' in the GCP RPOP mapping module else it will not let user to create a private offer or rpop 

  • SFDC- There is a validation issue where users are allowed to save when extending GCP RPOP with a date beyond the plan end date 

  • SFDC- There is an issue for GCP SaaS Amend offers using the CUD-based pricing model where a validation message incorrectly appears for the payment schedule, even when it is already added to the offer 

  • SFDC- For GCP RPOP, the plan start and end dates are based on calendar dates in the PST time zone 

  • SFDC- GCP Private offer: Validation is missing for invalid email addresses entered in the Sales Agent Primary Contact field 

  • SFDC- GCP SaaS Amend offer: For the "existing end date" option, the amendment end date initially appears two days earlier than expected. However, modifying other fields such as offer duration resets the end date to the correct value.
