This article explains creating a CPPO service-linked role in the AWS Marketplace Management Portal.

Create Service Linked Role

Note:

If the Service Linked Role is already set up, move on to the next page. If the role mentioned below is missing in AWS Marketplace, you may encounter error Account is missing AWSServiceRoleForMarketplaceResaleAuthorization managed policy while creating a CPPO.

To create a CPPO service-linked role in AMMP, please follow the below steps:

1. Sign in to the AWS Marketplace Management Portal and choose Settings.

2. In the Settings section, select the Service-linked roles tab.

3. On the Service-linked roles tab, select Service-linked role for Resale Authorizations or Create Resale Authorizations integration.

4. On the Service-linked role for Resale Authorizations or Create Resale Authorizations integrations page, review the information and confirm by clicking on Create service-linked role or Configure integration.

5. A message appears on the Service-linked roles page, indicating that the Resale Authorization service-linked role was successfully created.
