# Purpose

The purpose of this article is to explain the steps to configure SendGrid as a cloud-based SMTP Provider in SaaSify to send email notifications from your company domain.

## Prerequisites

1. **Create a SendGrid account**
  - If you don’t have an existing account, you can create a new one by accessing the link:[https://signup.sendgrid.com/](https://signup.sendgrid.com/)
  - If you already have an account, then you can login with your credentials by using the link: [https://app.sendgrid.com/login](https://app.sendgrid.com/login)
2. **Purchase SendGrid from cloud providers**

You can also purchase SendGrid directly from Cloud Marketplaces on AWS, Azure, and GCP using the following links:
