# Create Incoming Webhook

In this article, we will provide information on how to create an Incoming Webhook.

## Create Incoming Webhook

## There are several ways to create connection webhook:

- Creating Channel and Incoming Webhooks under existing team
- Creating a team from Scratch and add a channel
- Create an App and Link the Incoming Webhook

**Follow the Steps below for Creating Channel and Incoming Webhooks under existing team:**

1. Navigate to Teams and Channels section in left panel
2. Select the team for which you want to create a channel and click •••
3. Select Add channel from the drop down
4. Provide a Channel name and Choose a channel type and Click Create
5. Select the newly created channel and click + icon
6. Click on Apps
7. Click on Get more apps
8. Search for Incoming Webhook in search bar and select it.
9. Click on open
10. Select the Newly created Channel
11. Select Configure, provide a name, and upload an image for your webhook if necessary and Click Create
12. Copy and save the unique webhook URL present in the dialog window. The URL maps to the channel, which you can use to send information to Teams. Select Done.
