This article provides a step-by-step guide to connecting your AWS Partner Network (APN) with AWS Marketplace Account, verifying seller registration, and completing the required tax setup.
Existing AWS Partner network Verification
If you already have an AWS Partner Network (APN) ID, follow the steps below to verify:
Verify APN Connection
If You Are Using the APN Legacy Portal: AWS Partner Central Login
If you have not yet linked your AWS Marketplace account, please link your AWS Partner Central and AWS Account.
If Your APN Account Is Migrated to the New Experience:
Your AWS Marketplace account will be automatically linked. Follow the steps below to verify the setup.
Log in to AWS Partner Central
Navigate to the Dashboard.
Check the AWS Marketplace Account Status:
If the status shows Active, your AWS account is successfully linked.
Note:
For new marketplace seller who doesn’t have an AWS Partner network (APN ID), APN enrollment will happen automatically as part of the AWS Marketplace Seller registration process and AWS will review and approve the Seller Registration account, tax details, and disbursement method within 3–4 business days.
Seller Registration Verification and Tax Setup
After AWS completes the review and approval process, follow the steps below to verify your Seller registration and Tax profile:
Log in to AWS Partner Central
On the Dashboard, confirm that the AWS Marketplace Account Status shows Active.
Navigate to Marketplace Settings and verify the following:
a. Account Status: “Publish paid and free products”
b. Tax Interview Status: “Completed”
c. Bank Account Status: “Active”
